Intentional@Home is a ministry of Most Blessed Sacrament in Oshkosh, WI, but we are happy to serve anyone who finds our resources helpful in creating a culture of intentional discipleship in your own home.

Who is Intentional@Home For?

Everyone can become intentional about living with more peace, more hope, and more love. Everyone is part of a family. Everyone can attract friends, families, and neighbors to Jesus. Everyone can live more intentional spiritual and sacramental life.

Life Stage Pointers provide a Catholic Christian perspective on common family seasons and challenges along with recommended “going further” resources. We know we can’t have a Focus Area for every possibly variation for every home. Think of these as recipe cards to help you prepare your Intentional@Home plan. They are designed to give you just one idea you can implement this week to becoming more intentional about faith formation at home. The Idea Cards help you make faith conversations easy by providing family time activities, mealtime conversation prompts, movie night chat ideas, date night ideas, bedtime prayer and blessings, etc. Learn More

Intentional@Home Plan

Take Intentional@Home appraisal several times a year to help you assess how intentional you have been at home and what small steps you can take next.  First, briefly evaluate your own level of intentionality over the past couple months. Then, create an intentionality game plan for your home. Learn More

Why The Focus On “Home”?

Since most of us are called to serve God and live our purpose through the intimacy of marriage and the blessing of children, we need to understand the purpose and priority of family life.

Showing Christ

Every marriage is intended to be a masterpiece reflecting THE marriage between God and His people. (Genesis 1:27, Genesis 15, Jeremiah 3, Ephesians 5:22-33, Revelations 21:9)

Raising Believers

Those blessed with the gift of children and grandchildren are called to disciple the next generation as life’s greatest honor and highest priority. (Exodus 20, Deuteronomy 6, Psalm 78:1-8, Ephesians 6:1-4)

Be Jesus

A strong Christian family attracts the next generation and next door neighbor to Christ as The Word becomes flesh and blood and we conform our lives to the image and example of Christ. (John 1:14, Philippians 2, 1 Timothy 3, 1 John 3:16)

What is a Culture of Intentional Families?

A culture of intentional families who are intentional disciples becomes a reality when we consistently…

Honor Marriage

Pursue a God-honoring marriages by giving oneself to a husband or wife through mutual submission and faithful devotion.

Pass the Faith

Intentionally disciple our own children and grandchildren by capturing and creating experiences that deepen the roots of faith.

Walk the Talk

Live out our faith at home in ways that will attract the next generation and our next door neighbor to Christ.

Let us help you build a culture of intentionality in your home.
